Bristol Museum vs Banksy

A slight re-jigging of the title from the Mark Twain novel explains my movements this evening. At the crack of dawn tomorrow, Saturday, I will depart for Bristol. How luxurious, how exotic- I think you'll agree.

It's not quite the amazing fun you'll have at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Ibiza, but hopefully it won't be too bad. After all, it's not really a vacation. That was my trip to Berlin, Germany, two weeks ago. This is more, work orientated.

It appears that Bristol has a lot going for it. Some of it's children include Banksy, the truly talented graffiti artist, along with the self-professed caveman, Mr. Justin Lee Collins and of course, the sweaty Lee Evans. Oh, and that other guy.

Anyway, I best go pack my bags.

Tuneskies of the Day

This is the latest offering from the brilliant electro/house producer, Deadmau5, entitled "Ghosts 'n' Stuff".

The vocals you'll notice, now on the track, is from Rob Swire, the lead singer with the electrifying Pendulum. The reason I picked this track today was because of the line-up at the spoken of Ibiza 2009 gigs taking place this weekend. The duo (Deadmau5 and Swire) are appearing at several times, and are definitely worth tuning into. "Ghosts 'n' Stuff" will put you in the party mood, this Friday night. Check out the Ibiza 2009 schedule here.

Massive Attack - Teardrop on MUZU.

It's an old one, but still splendid. And also because Massive Attack hail from Bristol. So I'm told.

This song is simply magnificent.

Britney Spears - Radar on MUZU.

She's still around. Yep, and this is her new one, it's called "Radar" and it's already starting to bloat the radio due to it's heavy rotation. But, with all tracks you hear on the wireless, you may not have seen the video.

I'm still trying to figure out the point of it. Is she trying to be posh, with all the horses and the 'finer' things in life, or is she just a tarty stable girl who's put on her gladrags to get in the trousers of the rich polo player?

Britney, you've got my attention with this, but for all the wrong reasons. It's just baffling me.
