Last night rocked at The Academy.
I really do love music, especially when I see superb Irish talent. Last night I experienced three fantastic bands live: Codes, Fred and Bluemoose. Codes, the Dublin indie-electronica outfit kicked off the events at The Academy, Dublin yesterday evening. Bursting onto stage, albeit to a small crowd that soon grew larger, they kicked off with "This is Goodbye", their brilliant song, taken from their latest album "Trees dream in Algebra". It’s back. 4oD Returns to Ireland.
Channel 4. One of the good guys in broadcasting. And, they've done another nice thing. They've brought back their streaming video service, 4oD, to Ireland. The Nominees Are…

In Short Lady Gaga and Kings of Leon are equal in nominations, with 5 each. Green Day, Leona Lewis and Tokio Hotel are the first three acts announced to perform at the event. Best Video is to be decided by the MTV Judges, but it's more than likely, I think, going to be Beyoncé's "Single Ladies". After all, it's not going to be Taylor Swift, is it? Sure, "Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time". I'll post a list of my predictions another time after I've had a think about it, but...
