  • One down, many more to come…
It's already been a crazy day in Hamburg for the Sony Ericsson Fanwalk, and it's incredible so far. Everyone is starting to settle in with the other groups, which was helped by a "Speed Dating" session last night after dinner, whereby people had to run around the room, in a complete state of madness, to find out facts and interesting things about their fellow Fanwalkers from across the continent. Plus, some unlucky people had to answer questinons over the microphone about the people they just met with the Motivator (and arse-kicker, if you sleep in), Troy. You'd be surprised how fast people forgot the nuggets of knowledge that they just found out- but this will be...

  • And the journey begins!
Today is the first day in my departure across Germany to the MTV Europe Music Awards on the Sony Ericsson Fanwalk. As you read this, depending on the time, I'm either on the runway of Dublin airport, gliding through the sky, or I'm enjoying a quiet pint and a bite to eat, getting to know my fellow Irish-folk. It's all falling into place. The Irish walkers are leaving Dublin Airport and heading to Hamburg a day early, as we're preparing for the walk and we have to include travel to there. Because we're not native to the host country, Germany, we get an extra day of holiday, essentially. Not bad, to be honest. I know I'm not complaining. I Since I was first told the...

  • I’m nearly there!
It's only a couple of hours until I head to Dublin airport and depart on the journey of a lifetime, which is still a blur to me! To think that I will be heading off on the Sony Ericsson Fanwalk to the MTV Europe Music Awards is crazy. To think that out of all the hundreds of entries, from Ireland alone, I will be one of the few going on this unforgettable experience. I've been looking at the map of my travels, and it's already so exciting. Sure, I'm passing through many different towns and districts, most of which I can hardly pronounce, but the lack of knowledge of what's in store for us is thrilling. To think that I've 12 days of madness, socialising, partying, ...

  • Future Hit: “Ke$ha – TiK ToK”
Welcome to the first ever Future Hit post. This is going to be a track that'll go huge in the charts when released. The song is "TiK ToK" by Ke$ha. It's already ripped New Zealand to shreds and peaked at Number 1 in the charts. I predict a similar position when it hits Ireland and Great Britain. To be honest, I'm really surprised that it hasn't been played by the folks at BBC Radio 1 yet. I haven't seen any European radio stations getting around to giving it a spin. Too bad too, because it's a cracker of a song, and a fantastic artist. Ke$ha has been on our radio before, featuring as the female vocalist on Flo-Rida's "Right Round",  as well as collabo...

  • I’m Not Dead.
Not many posts in the past few days. Sorry. I'm not dead. Well, neither is Zach Braff. I'm glad he's not too. Not just because he'svery good at what he does, but because his explination video was very funny. Plus, Donald Faison too. Score, really. Check out the video: ...
