Blur

Keep January 2010 free. You’re going to one of the most important music-related movies of a generation, and arguably one of the most important ever released. “No Distance Left To Run”, The Blur biopic hits cinemas early next year.

The trailer is enough to set the pulse racing, as it showcases briefly how the band felt after their split, and how deep down they still had a strong urge and desire to reform and recreate one of the most influential musical acts of all time.

This is perfect news, also visible on the band’s website, which comes after the past two Sunday’s listening, thanks to the free Live CD from this year’s festivals, and also the downloads from iTunes given in The Sunday Times. I’ve gone Blur crazy again, and I think it’s only right.

Michael Jackson, move over- The Boys are Back in town, and they’re coming to my local multiplex.
