To-do list

Saturday and Sunday are over already? It flies by faster every time. However, we need not fear, as there's a lot of things we can use to waste our time over the coming five days until the weekend lands again. Here's my interesting links for the week that you can waste your hours upon when in work, college or wherever you may be.

Pop.ularity.co.uk

It's a great little web application that's been doing the rounds for a while, but hasn't really boomed into stardom. It's a joint venture and project by last.fm, the online music website which I love so very much, and The Echo Nest, a fancy new piece of internet programming that takes music and audio into a new dimension. Essentially, it's a quiz that takes your most listened to tracks, and music from your library, and asks you a series of questions on who is more popular. There are easy questions, such as "Britney Spears or The Coronas", but there are some surprising questions that would make you think again to who you thought would be the bigger artist in terms of popularity, hence the name. It's a fun, and wholly addictive website. One that you should really check out.

Bebo Album Downloader

Bebo, as stated before, is kicking the bucket in a short while, possibly next month, and many people, especially in Ireland, have old profile's from some time ago. And, despite the fact that you either love or hate the site, you've probably got tons of photos on their service, which you'd like to get back. Many of those users have returned to the website and are spending hours manually saving pictures to your computer from the browser. Not only is this time consuming, but it's also horrendously frustrating. Now, a DCU student, Bernard McKeever, has written a handy little website that will download your images for you and put them all together in one complete little package. No fuss, no messing, no extensive mouse clicking; just one .zip file containing your pictures. Easy-peasy.

And, time for some unintentional porn.

Where products and placements get it so incorrect.

Oh, where has my humour gone.
