Where else could you hear rap music's freshest new child, one of the biggest rockstars on the planet, some indie kids and other random musical greats in one location. Clue: Here on a Friday.

B.o.B. - "Airplanes" Feat. Hayley Williams

I'm loving B.o.B.

I have been hooked on his début (mainstream) release, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray ever since I first heard it. To me, I find it well produced, excellent rap and hip-hop music that finds the melody as important as the lyrics: a notion that many modern rappers lack. One standout track, and one that is shifting some serious amount of airplay is "Airplanes" featuring Hayley Williams, the female vocalist from rock outfit Paramore. The video for the track has been released, as it is well worth a look- despite the fact that it is a generic rap video (You know: straight to camera rapping, deep-thinking poses and some clips to the female) in an abandoned warehouse. Although the video isn't as striking as the work in "Nothin' on You", it's most definitely worth enjoying- if only for the brilliant song.

Ozzy Osbourne - "Let Me Hear You Scream"

Rock on! The Prince of Darkness is most certainly back. Ozzy, I salute you.

To promote his latest album, Scream, he organised a mass attempt to break the world record for the loudest and longest roar from a crowd, a record once held by a bunch of Finnish Boy Scouts. So in March a stadium full of sport fanatics yelled "SCREAM" as loud as they could, and they were successful. However, "Let Me Hear You Scream", the first song from the album is out, as is the video. Sure, the track isn't a masterpiece in terms of lyrics, but it's still a cracker of a track that you can gladly blast out of your speakers or mosh your head to in Fibbers' without being ashamed that he sold out to reality TV. Why? Because the album is a damn sight better than some of the more recent ventures.

Klaxons - "Echoes"

Will you be putting your neon coloured tee-shirts and sweatbands again? Can you fit back into your skinny jeans without cutting of the circulation to your, er, important bits? Klaxons are back- the once kings of nu-rave.

The band are releasing their new album, Surfing the Void, in August, and now the first track from the record has surfaced. "Echoes", a funky little number that is similar(ish) to their first album material sets a standard that will hopefully be consistent across the album. If it is, Klaxons may very well be big, again. Good luck to the lads.

Also, take a peek at the album artwork for the new album: it's pretty cool!

Mark Ronson and The Business Intl - "Bang Bang Bang"

It's a big weekend track, and you should turn it up loud. Mark Ronson is on the scene again, and he's back with a Bang Bang Bang. Okay, that remark was wittier in my head. Either way, give it a listen.

The new album, Record Collection, is out in September.
