I’ve been humming and hawing about releasing the news over the past few days, but I’m glad that I can officially, after much speculation, reveal that I’ll be performing at NUI Maynooth next week for the first big gig of the year, the infamous OUTrageous party, on Wednesday 3rd November 2010.
I was honoured to be booked by the guys and gals, and in particular Mr. Alan Costello, whose got me on the evening delivering a very special, very exclusive DJ set. I’ll be blasting out the big songs until the early hours of the morning, after an appearance from the very talented Rafa Mafra, who’ll be kicking off the proceedings at the start of the event. It’s sure to be a fantastic night.
The event, organised by the highly active LGBT Soc will feature a whole host of snazzy and mind-blowing spectacles on the night; all of which I won’t reveal just yet. Also, the lovely NUIM Dance Society will also be on hand to provide some sexy moves and some outrageous dancing on the night, sure to sizzle the crowd. Plus, a very special guest is to stop-by- someone very well respected on the NUI Maynooth Campus, within the societies and around the country. Hell yes.
If you’re in the college, or if you want to get your hands on the tickets, you can head on down to the NUI Maynooth Arts block next Monday to Wednesday, from 10-3. Believe me: these tickets are selling like hot cakes, tickets are nearly sold out and they’re flying out the door. Plus, they’re a mere €5. Sure, it’s total bias as I’m playing it- but damn, that’s a recession-busting deal. I know you want to be in on the action.
You can pop across to the Facebook event page for more details.
For a taster of what to expect, check out the August 2010 mix I made. And, since I’m in a good mood, I’ll let you in on a secret: there’s another mix coming over the weekend. Waahey.
